Corralejo coworking: working from a surf house, honestly

Looking for Corralejo coworking? You have two kinds of option. You can pay for a desk in a dedicated coworking space, or you can stay somewhere that includes a place to work. We run the second kind, so we are biased, and this guide tries to be useful anyway: it lists what exists, gives you eight questions that work on any space, and then explains what working from Coco Surfhouse is really like, with what guests have written about it.

One thing up front: our co-working space is for guests only. If you only want a desk, you will need to look at the other options below.

In short

  • Corralejo has several places to work remotely, including dedicated coworking spaces and surf houses with workspace.
  • Public listings of those spaces disagree about hours and prices, so confirm directly.
  • At Coco the co-working is part of the stay: shared space, several spots to work, high-speed Wi-Fi, and use limited to registered guests.
  • Stays are 3 to 30 nights; from €28 per bed (dorm) or €50 per private room, per night (October 2026).

Corralejo coworking: what exists

Corralejo is a small coastal town in the north of Fuerteventura and a common base for remote workers who also want to surf. Directories of coworking spaces list a handful of places in the town. The ones that came up most in our searches are CoNomad, Cofete Coworking and Coliving and Surfing. We have not visited them and we are not going to quote their prices: the listings we found disagree with each other on opening hours and on what is included, and we could not find an official website for some of them. Treat any directory as a starting point and ask the space for current hours, prices and a day-pass option.

For a broader picture of the island as a base for remote work, see our digital nomad guide to Fuerteventura.

Corralejo coworking: 8 questions to ask any space

These work for any coworking space or any accommodation that promises a workspace.

  1. What are the real opening hours, and is there out-of-hours access? Online listings often conflict.
  2. Do you sell day passes, weekly or monthly desks? And is the price with or without tax?
  3. What speed does the Wi-Fi really give? Ask for a recent speed test, not a marketing number.
  4. Is there a place to take calls? A private booth or a quiet room matters more than a nice view if your job is on video all day.
  5. Is there a backup connection? If not, bring a mobile hotspot.
  6. How many people use the space at once, and how noisy does it get?
  7. Are there enough power sockets and a proper chair? You will notice both after a week.
  8. Is it flexible if your plans change? Look at the cancellation terms before you pay.

Working from Coco Surfhouse: what to expect

This is what we say about our own co-working, from our site:

  • A shared co-working space with secure, high-speed Wi-Fi and a variety of environments to work in.
  • You can also take your laptop to other parts of the house.
  • It is for registered guests only, as is the surf equipment.
  • Around it: a pool, a terrace and a roof terrace, plus a house full of people who are also there to work, surf or both.

Our site does not list private call booths or meeting rooms. If your work depends on those, ask us before you book. And we do not publish a Wi-Fi speed number on this page: please test it yourself on the first day, as in question 3 above.

Here is how the day is designed to flow, as we describe it: yoga in the morning, breakfast by the pool, laptops open wherever you like in the house, and when you finish work, a surf session. In the evening there is a barbecue, a paella, or a night of board games. Fuerteventura is in the Western European time zone, one hour behind most of Europe, which we explain in our nomad guide: office hours finish an hour earlier by the clock, and as we wrote there, the sun never goes down before 18:00, so there is time for the sea after work. If you want to plan that side, start with where to surf by level.

What guests say about working at Coco

These are Google reviews of Coco Surfhouse. Names are first names only; reviews not in English are translated by us.

"There is a pool, terrace, and roof terrace, and on top of everything there is a great co-working space in case you are working remotely." — Kadi, November 2025

"The ideal place to disconnect, surf and work quietly from the co-working space." (translated from Spanish) — Sofía, May 2025

"A cool co-working hostel with great infrastructure! […] Top atmosphere, here and there a bit too much of a hotel feel in the state of the rooms, but very relaxed!" (translated from German) — Tim, January 2026

Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere

It suits you if you want a workspace that comes with the stay, you are happy with a shared setting, and you like the idea of finishing your day with other people who are into the sea. Our rooms range from a six-bed dorm to private rooms, so you can choose how much of the house you share.

Look elsewhere if you only need a desk by the day, if you need 24-hour access or meeting rooms, or if you want a flat to yourself for a month. Check the options in the previous section and ask them the eight questions.

Stay length and prices

At Coco the minimum stay is 3 nights and the maximum is 30. For longer stays, contact us. Prices start at €28 per bed per night in the dorm and €50 per night for a private room, as shown on our site in October 2026. Check dates on the booking page, and read the co-working page for the details.
